Hostomel

Gostomel (ukr. Gostomel) is an urban-type settlement in the Kiev region of Ukraine.
March 07, 2022 Gostomel was awarded the honorary title 'Hero City of Ukraine'.
Population: 16,190 (2019).
Located 7 km northwest of Kyiv, it is part of the Kiev agglomeration. In Gostomel there is an international airport for cargo planes, as well as a glass factory.
